The Brand must be included on the home page of all tourism related websites receiving Tourism Marketing Incentive funds. The Brand should always be used for optimum legibility and should never be less than 2.0" (2") = 144 pixels wide x 37 pixels high at 72 dpi.

The Brand shall provide a link to the Department of Travel’s main site (www.kentuckytourism.com) The consumer should be able to see the Brand in the visible screen without scrolling down.

Banner Advertising
For standard banner ads, including the Square (300x250), Skyscraper (160x600), and Leaderboard (728x90), the Brand should always be used for optimum legibility and should never be less than 1.5" (1 1/2") = 108 pixels wide x 27pixels high at 72 dpi without shadow.

If size restrictions of the ad would cause the Brand to overpower or consume a disproportionate amount of space while using the minimum 1.5" Brand within the ad, then "Kentucky, Unbridled Spirit" must be typeset in bold on the bottom of the ad. Prior creative approval by the Department of Travel is required.
E-mail Marketing/Newsletters
For e-mail marketing/newsletters, etc., the Brand should always be used for optimum legibility and should never be less than 2.0" (2.0") = 144 pixels wide x 37 pixels high at 72 dpi.

FOR ALL ADVERTISING IN THIS CATEGORY: Upon approval, applicant is required to have a visible link to the Kentucky Department of Travel’s home page (www.kentuckytourism.com). Visible Link means - the Brand/web address (web address lettering optional) must appear in the TOP 500 pixels, (at standard web page size - 72 dpi) of the first visible page where the consumer is directed by the ad. The consumer should be able to see the Brand in the visible screen without scrolling down.
Consumers must be able to reach the Department of Travel’s web site with one click from the page where they are first directed by the advertising.
The Department of Travel reserves the right to determine the acceptability and value of all written, graphic and visual material as to its content and appropriateness for the general public and for the state’s effort to promote tourism.
If there is any question regarding an ad's eligibility relative to this category, prior approval by the Department of Travel is recommended.
