Lake Barkley State Resort Park

Gazing out over the calm morning water, one can spy tinges of red and orange standing out against the predominantly green tree line on the opposite shore. It is almost as though Lake Barkley’s surrounding forest realizes that the spotlight is on “Ham Fest” in town this week. And so, the trees will save their autumn adornment until later in the month, when it can be fully appreciated by Lodge visitors.
